PYN’s New Look: A Bold Step Toward Purpose-Driven Impact

Updated: Dec 11, 2025

As we move into 2026, Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) is excited to unveil a refreshed logo and brand identity - an evolution that reflects not just a new look, but a renewed purpose in our work.

Over the past year as we streamlined our offerings and deepened our focus on direct service delivery, it became clear that we needed a visual identity that aligned with our updated approach - one that signals to young people, partners, employers, and community stakeholders that PYN is moving forward with greater purpose and a more cohesive set of offerings.

Our updated logo and visual system are rooted in the idea that meaningful workforce development happens at points of intersection. The overlapping elements in the PYN letterforms reflect the way our work brings together students, educators, employers, community organizations, and local systems. These intersections are where career exposure, real-world learning, and pathway development take shape. By grounding the brand in this concept, we are reinforcing a core value of our model -  youth outcomes improve when the systems around them coordinate intentionally.

The brand’s visual language, focused on unstructured shapes, gradients, and an expansive color palette, captures the vibrancy and diversity of Philadelphia’s young people, reflecting their wide range of experiences, outlooks, and career aspirations. These elements convey movement and possibility while underscoring PYN’s commitment to intersection, collaboration, and the collective effort required to connect young people to high-quality opportunities.

As PYN enters the new program year, this brand direction reflects a broader organizational commitment to operating with more focus and efficiency. We are strengthening our employer engagement strategy, aligning our program models, and refining the pathways that link youth skill-building to real labor-market demand. Our new brand language provides a framework that supports this work by presenting PYN as a unified, strategic, and forward-looking organization.

Ultimately, this identity marks an important step in our evolution. It reflects where PYN is now - streamlined, purpose-driven, and committed to impacting Philadelphia's youth at scale -  and where we are headed: toward a more coordinated youth workforce development ecosystem in Philadelphia. We are excited to share this new look with our community and to continue advancing opportunities that equip Philadelphia’s youth for the careers, leadership roles, and futures they deserve.
