What is E3? Empowering the teens and young adults of Philadelphia through free education and employment services.
At Philadelphia Youth Network, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to cultivate their talents and achieve their dreams. E³ services help young people take the next step toward a career. Through comprehensive and individualized support, we connect teens and young adults to post-secondary education, paid work experience, adult mentorship, career pathway coaching, and more.
Who is E3 for? Helping Young People Achieve Their Dreams
E3 provides year-round services to 16-24 year olds in Philadelphia, not currently connected to school or work, who are looking to take the next step in their careers. E3 programs offer teens and young adults support, guidance and resources to begin and prepare for their career.

E3 is one of the few programs that offers individualized services and plans based on the educational and career-based needs of teens and young adults.

E3 participants can receive supportive services that cover the cost of transportation, supplies, housing, and childcare — while also gaining paid work experiences.

- Support to graduate high school or earn a GED
- Connection to training after graduation
- Help applying for college
- Job skill assistance
- Access to paid internships, community service, and other work experiences
- Connection to additional training and full-time employment
- Career coaching
Since 2005, our neighborhood -based centers have helped more than 1,000 young people graduate high school or earn their GED.
