Initiative: Skilled Career Pathways for Young Talent

The Skilled Career Pathways for Young Talent Initiative connects opportunity youth to middle skill jobs in the tech and healthcare industries.

PYN has launched the Skilled Career Pathways for Young Talent Initiative in partnership with training providers, employers, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Works. PYN’s goal is to see 100 young people ages 16-24 not currently connected to school or work find middle skill jobs by the end of 2022.

Designed for employers and young adults

We will do this by bringing employers and providers to the same table to ensure that young people are getting the skills they need to get hired and succeed in their new jobs, and that employers are providing job opportunities that have clear, supportive pathways for long-term careers for their new hires. PYN has partnered with Grads of Life to provide in-depth analysis of employers’ inclusive practices and talent needs to inform all partners and create a truly collaborative partnership for getting young people into living wage careers.

The Skilled Career Pathways for Young Talent initiative is made possible by support from JP Morgan Chase.
