I chose PYN because I loved the way the organization was making opportunities possible for young people like me. Having a job as a teenager set me on a career path and changed my economic outlook. Education and employment helped me to escape the poverty I grew up in, and I want that possibility for every young person who needs the type of support our work creates. All my life, caring adults helped me grow and now I am fortunate to work with an army of caring professionals who are just as passionate about serving young people as I am!

One of the hardest things for me during career searching was that I didn't want a self-serving career where I indulge myself in self-fulfillment when I know I have so much to give... I can be a part of an amazing team and reach the masses through PYN. I finally feel like I am in a position to turn the history of Philadelphia around and recreate the meaning of the city of brotherly love.
