PYN is currently seeking its next President & CEO.
The President and CEO will report and work collaboratively with the Board Chair of Board of Directors in leading the transformation of the organization from its current stage to a more mature organization capable of delivering on its long-term vision. Specifically, the President and CEO will ensure that PYN’s fiscal, operations, fundraising, marketing, human resources, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.
The Senior Project Manager, Customer Service Center will manage and oversee the WorkReady Customer Service Center and additional Customer Service supports for PYN’s network of programs and/or initiatives. This role will lead PYN's efforts focused on providing customer service and support to young people and caring adults who are interested in and/or participating in PYN programs and/or initiatives.
Reporting to Controller, the Staff Accountant maintains PYN’s accounting and compliance policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure grant compliance and accountability at providers’ level. Also provides technical assistance to providers in relation to PYN funds accounting and compliance. Perform related month-end and yearly close procedures and reporting as directed by the Company Controller.
In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will function as a business partner providing day-to-day support to business operations and HR regarding the implementation of human
resource initiatives and strategies. Job duties may include responding to employee inquiries,
running HR reports, coordinating HR projects, and more.
The Project Assistant will report to the Vice President and will support key projects for the Finance and Administration division. There will be an opportunity to work across departments and engage with several members of the team.
The Program Manager, Program Implementation is responsible for management and implementation of education and/or employment programs at the Philadelphia Youth Network. The position will oversee a portfolio of providers and support them to implement their Scopes of Work fully and in a timely and complete manner. Additionally, PMs will implement special projects that enhance program implementation and provide ongoing TA and support to their providers.
The Project Assistant will report to the Director, Education and Workforce Policy & Strategy and will support key projects for the External Relations division. There will be an opportunity to work across departments and engage with several members of the team.
The Program Associate is responsible for providing support to youth providers and young people who participate in PYN programming. This includes support of contracted providers
and partners to complete administrative and programmatic requirements related to the successful implementation of programs as well as the communication and technical assistance of young people and caring adults connected to our system.
The Associate, Communications and Outreach is responsible for supporting PYN’s efforts to promote the organization’s programs and efforts locally, regionally, and nationally with the goal of creating more opportunities to improve the educational and economic outcomes of young Philadelphians. The main focus of this position is to create and support content to promote
PYN’s programs and initiatives through various communications channels.
The Director, Business Engagement is responsible for day-to-day management of the Business Engagement department, including supervision of staff, cultivating relationships with partners locally, regionally, and nationally, especially those in the business community, and assuring that all internally managed employment pathway programs are executed efficiently and effectively. The Director also works closely with other members of the External Relations leadership team to support development, communications, and collective impact efforts on
behalf of PYN.
The Senior Business Partnership Specialist (SBPS) position requires an energetic and innovative individual who will connect employers to talent by building and maintaining relationships within the regional business community, understanding their current and future workforce needs and connecting them to the larger youth workforce system.
The Project Manager, Continuous Improvement (PMCI) ensures implementation of PYN’s continuous improvement cycle of Assess, Plan, Improve with year-round and summer
programs. Based on data gathered and planning sessions, the PMCI will design and implement high-quality training and professional development for partners and direct service providers connected to year-round and summer programs.
The Development Associate works to secure philanthropic commitments to support PYN’s mission of equipping youth for academic achievement, economic opportunity, and personal success. Areas of focus include: support and management of donor relationships through the fundraising cycle, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship; the
development of high-quality proposals and reports; and the effective and responsible stewardship of public and private investments.
Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) is recruiting for Research Interns to join the Education and Workforce Policy & Strategy (EWPS) team in Fall 2022. In this role, you will assist the EWPS team in carrying out its research agenda to better understand and improve program quality, equity, and efficacy. The results of these projects will have a direct impact on PYN’s work in improving the lives of young people in Philadelphia through relevant, high-quality early work experiences.
