Young Friends of PYN
By raising awareness through fundraising, events and networking, the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Youth Network (Young Friends of PYN) supports the mission and vision of PYN.
Membership is open to young professionals who have a passion for improving the lives of young people through educational and career opportunities.
Young Friends of PYN members:
- Participate in PYN fundraising events
- Impact the city through volunteerism
- Encourage friends and colleagues to support PYN initiatives
- Raise awareness of PYN and its initiatives in the business community
- Receive all PYN reports in order to inform themselves and others of PYN-managed programs
- Are invited to speak at employer education and youth career exploration events
- Meet quarterly
Membership offers opportunities to:
- Be recognized as an emerging young professional in the city
- Broaden professional and social networks
- Contribute to the development of Philadelphia’s future workforce by providing workplace experiences for youth
- Further expand leadership skills
- Interact with prominent individuals from the public and private sectors
- Support the Mayor’s education goals
- Attend the annual WorkReady fundraiser at a discounted rate
- Highlight professional accomplishments and activities publicly
