It is a requirement for all WorkReady School-Year Internship opportunities to have a job description. The job titles and descriptions listed below are general examples of job duties and functions for youth in specific industry areas. If you do not have a job description developed, please select from the options below. You may expand upon the job description before interns arrive at your worksite.
All of the following duties will be performed in cooperation with an assigned supervisor, and/or in coordination with other members of staff. Additional duties may be assigned.
The purpose of this session is to forge relationships with school based staff that will enhance implementation of the program. You will review program guidelines and logistics. Also included are break-out sessions for employers and assigned school partners to coordinate means of communication for the duration of the program.
