EducationWorks will provide GED instruction, on-the-job training,
post-secondary preparation, career exploration, and work experience
to out-of-school youth from throughout Philadelphia. In the program,
youth will have an opportunity to work in childcare or computer
applications. The primary goals for the program are to: 1) assist
youth in GED attainment, 2) teach youth basic computer literacy
and/or child development training based on concentration, and 3)
engage youth in career exploration and work readiness training.
