In a joint partnership between CHOP and Furness High School , CHOP
will provide a comprehensive tiered program designed to orient
students between 9th and 12th grades to various learning and
employment experiences in the healthcare field while supporting the
youth’s current and post-secondary educational pursuits.

Communities In Schools of Philadelphia, Inc. (CISP) in collaboration
with St. Christopher Hospital program will students from Olney High
School both in academics and in preparation for employment or
post-secondary education. Students will receive varied paid work
experiences guided by dedicated mentors, academic support, career
and post-secondary education exploration, life skills training, and
ongoing social services support. Students must have at least a “C”
average, 85% school attendance record, and no disciplinary records
in order to be considered for the program.
