Industry Days

Type: Activity: WorkReady In-school Youth Career Exposure Activity

Description:
Area businesses and organizations welcome students for a one-day industry-specific exploration experience. Dates will be scheduled yearly for the winter. Host sites identify at least five employees to participate, attend an orientation session, and prepare information about the workplace and industry-related careers to share with students.

Youth Eligibility	10th graders currently pursuing industry-based academic tracks Recommended by coordinators in one of the Career and Technical Education programs below
Participating Programs	Automotive Communications and Media Construction Trades Healthcare Hospitality
