Working Solutions: 1,000 InternshipsStarting July 2, over 1,000 Philadelphia young people will
begin working in local companies for the summer. That’s more
than twice the number of WorkReady Employer-Paid Internships
from 2006 thanks to a new initiative by the
Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce called
Working Solutions, supported by corporate partner
Commerce Bank, and with help from the United Way of
Southeastern PA.
