Director, Research and Evaluation : The Philadelphia Youth Network, Inc. is a non-profit, intermediary organization dedicated to ensuring that all of our City’s young people take their rightful places as full and contributing members of a world-class workforce for the region. We pursue this vision by serving as a catalyst for collective action, making connections between individuals, organizations and systems and building capacity and resources city-wide in order to provide the preparation needed for our City’s youth to thrive in a regional and global economy. PYN convenes local leadership, brokers and provides service to workplace partners, ensures the quality of local efforts, and promotes policies to sustain effective practice. In its first 10 years of operation, PYN has overseen a network of contracted providers that offer academically-enriched, workforce preparation and educational recovery experiences for more than 50,000 young people.

Business Partnership Specialist : The Business Partnership Specialist (BPS) will work in conjunction with the other team members within the Business Partnership Unit, a division of PYN’s Workforce Business. The Business Partnerships Unit is the center of expertise for employer engagement at PYN. The Business Partnerships Unit provides high-level customer service to all partners that participate in WorkReady programs.

Director, In-School Youth Department : The person in this position is responsible for setting the vision and direction of the In-School Youth (ISY) Department, comprising a team of Program Officers. The Director is responsible for ensuring that the Department meets its goals. The In-School Youth Department is the center of expertise for ISY programming at PYN. The ISY Department researches best practices in career-connected education and translates those findings into PYN program models. In addition, the Department works to improve the quality of programs that PYN funds, enhancing the performance of selected contractors. The ISY Department defines a standard of excellence for programming and works with external providers to build their capacity to achieve that program standard.
