The Sovereign Building at 714 Market is a tall white building located directly across the street from mid-block entrance to the Mellon Independence Center (between the Ross Store and Citizens Bank).

Take the main entrance elevator to the 3rd floor. Turn RIGHT out of the elevator. The steps to the main entrance will be immediately to your right.

Driving
From the North:
Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 4. Get on Rt. 73 North and look for signs for Rt. 38. Take 38 West to US 30. Take US 30 West over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. While crossing the bridge, stay in the left lane. The road will bend around to the right until the first traffic light (7th St.) - go through that light and continue on to 8th St. Stay in the left lane. Turn left onto 8th St. (it's located at the 2nd traffic light, under an overpass). Continue on 8th St. past Race and Arch Sts. Turn left at next light (Market St.). The Sovereign Building will be on your right.

From the South:
Take I-95 North to I-676 - stay in the left lane. Look for signs for "Callowhill Street". Stay in far right lanes. Turn left onto 6th St. continue on 6th St. past Race and Arch Sts. Turn right at next light (Market St.).  Continue on Market past 7th street.  The Sovereign Building will be on your left.

From the East:
Take Rt. 42 North. After passing the Interchange for I-295, look for signs for I-676 toward Philadelphia. Take I-676 North and cross over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Stay in left lane until first traffic light (7th st.). Go through and continue to 8th Street. Turn left onto 8th St., continue on 8th Street past Race and Arch Sts. Turn left at next light (Market Street).  The Sovereign Building will be on your right.

From the West:
Take I-76 (the PA Turnpike) East to Exit 24 (The Schuylkill Expressway or I-76). Take Schuylkill Expressway East to Central Philadelphia - the I-676Exit. Take I-676 to "8th Street/Chinatown" Exit. At end of exit ramp, turn right onto 8th Street. Continue on 8th Street past Race and Arch Sts. Turn left at next light (Market Street). The Sovereign Building will be on your right.

Parking
There’s some on-street meter parking on 7th and 8th Streets, just south of Market, and numerous parking lots, including one on 7th Street, just south of Market. There’s also a loading zone just in front of the building if you are picking up or dropping off.

SEPTA
Bus - Take Bus Route 17, 33, 38, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61 to 8th & Market.  Walk 0.5 block to 714 Market St.
Or take Bus Route 9, 12, 21, 42, to 8th & Chestnut.  Walk North on Chestnut to 8th & Market.  Turn right and walk 0.5 block to 714 Market St.

Regional Rail - Take any Regional Rail to Market East Station at 11th and Market.  Walk 3.5 blocks to 714 Market St.

Subway - Take the Market Frankford Line to 8th street.  Walk 0.5 block to 714 Market St.
