Business Partnerships Specialist
General Description:
The Business Partnerships Unit at the Philadelphia Youth Network is the center of expertise for employer engagement, workplace opportunities, and regional and national workforce trends. The Business Partnership Specialist will work within the unit to build relationships with employers, schools, and professional associations to ensure internship and work exposure opportunities for youth through WorkReady Philadelphia in an effort to better prepare youth to work in a global economy.
Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Director
General Description:
The Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) is a non-profit youth workforce development intermediary organization that connects individuals, organizations and systems around the preparation and success of a qualified emerging workforce. PYN employs a variety of school, community and business-based strategies to advance its mission. Presently, PYN is seeking a project manager to lead the evolution of an exciting new initiative focused on engaging community partners in providing students with standards-aligned, credit-bearing learning experiences in out-of-school time settings. This Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) strategy will require collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia and other key stakeholders to devise an ELO system that integrates education and workforce activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for constructing the blueprint for a local ELO system and engaging the resources and supports needed to implement an effective model.
Employment Specialist
General Description:
The Employment Specialist is part of a seasonal team designed to provide citywide access to all youth interested in WorkReady Philadelphia summer programs. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings and weekends beginning late March to August. This is a non exempt position at $10 an hour.
Provider Liaison
General Description:
The Summer WorkReady Provider Liaison is part of a seasonal team designed to provide citywide access to all youth interested in Summer WorkReady Philadelphia programs. The position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work nights and weekends beginning late March to August. This is a non exempt position at $15 an hour. Provider Liaisons will be primarily responsible for the oversight of all contractor administrative and programmatic requirements related to the successful implementation of the WorkReady Summer program.
Contextual Learning Coordinator
General Description:
The WorkReady Summer Contextual Learning Coordinator is part of a seasonal team designed to support the implementation of the Contextual Learning component for WorkReady Summer programs from late March through August. This position requires a flexible schedule, the ability to work some evenings and weekends, and frequent travel throughout the Philadelphia region.
The Contextual Learning Cooridinator will be primarily responsible for the oversight of the Contextual Learning Team and all related administrative and programmatic requirements for the Contextual Learning component of WorkReady Summer programs across the city. This is an exempt position offering a competitive salary for a 5-month term of employment.
Contextual Learning Specialist

The WorkReady Summer Contextual Learning Specialist is part of a seasonal team designed to support the implementation of the Contextual Learning component of WorkReady Summer programs from late March through August. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to travel throughout the Philadelphia region.
The Contextual Learning Specialist will be primarily responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Contextual Learning activities and related administrative and programmatic requirements for contractors providing WorkReady Summer programs. This is an exempt position with a salary of $14,500 for a 21-week term of employment.
